Ag Expo 2009

January 14-15 2009
Ramkota Hotel and Conference Center
Sioux Falls, SD
In Review
Despite the cold January South
Dakota weather, Ag Expo 2009 went well. The exhibition
hall was packed, and we even had to turn away 8 new
exhibitors. Thanks to all of
you that attended.
-
Thanks to Ford West, TFI who traveled to Sioux Falls
to participate in the 2009 Ag Expo “Balancing Risk
and Reward in Today’s Economy.” During the session,
he provided a keynote address titled “World
Fertilizer Supply and its Impact on the U.S.
Market.” He also took part in a panel discussion
that touched upon several key agriculture issues
including the fertilizer supply and demand
situation; an examination of land market trends in
South Dakota; and a presentation on the role of
biofuels in the United States’ energy future.
